The Shed Hunting Lodge is located in Choctaw County which is in West Central Alabama near the Mississippi - Alabama border. The Shed is easy to locate, just of Alabama State Highway 17.

This area is widely known as the "black belt" or the "piney woods" and is prime habitat for both whitetail deer and Eastern turkeys. Both species can be found in great quantities on The Shed's eight thousand acres of private land. We'd love to show you around!
GETTING HERE FROM THERE...
From Birmingham, AL (160 miles - about 3 hour drive time)
1. Take Interstate 59 south through Tuscaloosa, AL toward Meridian, MS.
2. Take Alabama Highway 17 (Interstate Exit 8) toward York, AL (take left at top of ramp).
3. Go through York and continue through Butler on Alabama Highway 17.
4. Approximately 5.5 miles south of Butler take a left onto County Road 25, Pleasant Hill Road.
5. The Shed Hunting Lodge is located approximately 1/4 mile on the left at 253 Pleasant Hill Road.
From Meridian, MS (45 miles - about 1 hour drive time)
1. From Interstate 20/59 take the Butler, AL (MS Highway 19).
2. MS Highway 19 becomes Alabama Highway 10 at the state line - take Alabama Highway 10 to Butler, AL.
3. In Butler, take Highway 17 south (this is a right at the second red light - Mulberry Street).
4. Approximately 5.5 miles south of Butler take a left onto County Road 25, Pleasant Hill Road.
5. The Shed Hunting Lodge is located approximately 1/4 mile on the left at 253 Pleasant Hill Road.
From Mobile, AL (106 miles - about 2 1/2 hour drive time)
1. From I-165 North - merge onto I-65 North via exit 1B toward Montgomery, AL - take the Alabama 158/Alabama 213 exit (EXIT 13) toward Eight Mile,AL.
2. Take Alabama 158 W/Alabama 213 W/Industrial Parkway - Continue to follow Alabama 158 W/Industrail Parkway for approximately 2.7 miles.
3. Turn right onto US Route 45/ Alabama Highway 17 (St. Stephens Road) - Continue to follow US 45/ Alabama 17 for about 33 miles.
4. Take right onto Alabama Highway 17 for approximately 60 miles and turn right onto County Road 25, Pleasant Hill Road.
5. The Shed Hunting Lodge is located approximately 1/4 mile on the left at 253 Pleasant Hill Road.
From Montgomery, AL (150 miles - about 3 hour drive time)
1. From I-85 South, merge onto I-65 South via the exit on the left toward Mobile.
2. Merge onto US-80 West via Exit 167 toward Selma.
3. US-80 West becomes US-80 BR West.
4. Turn left onto Highland Avenue / US-80 / AL-14 / AL-22 TRUCK / AL-8. Continue to follow US-80 West / AL-8 West.
5. Turn left onto AL-69.
6. Turn left onto US-43 / AL-13 / AL-69.
7. Turn right onto AL-69.
8. Turn right onto AL-10.
9. In Butler, turn left onto South Mulberry Avenue / AL 17. Follow AL 17 for 5.5 miles to CR-25.
10. Take a left on CR-25 (Pleasant Hill Road).
11. The Shed Hunting Lodge is approximately 1/4 mile on the left at 253 Pleasant Hill Road.
